The City of Creola is seeking Bids from qualified contractors to assist the City with Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal Services. Contractors provide clean-up, demolition, removal, reduction and disposal of debris on City of Creola Rights-of-Way and public properties in accordance with FEMA regulations resulting from Hurricane Zeta as directed by the City in order to eliminate immediate threats to the public health and safety. Proposers must have adequate organization, facilities, equipment, and personnel to ensure prompt and efficient service to the City of Creola.
Debris Removal Contract Provisions
A requirement that the contractor use mechanical equipment to load and reasonably compact debris into the trucks and trailers. (ex: Backhoe or Graffle Tractor)
The use of (2) two trucks to haul off debris is preferred.
All debris should be hauled to a qualified site.
Bid documents must include itemized bid and fee schedule, contractor’s license and insurance certificates.
Sealed Bids will be received until 12:00 PM on November 12, 2020, in the Office of the City Administrative Assistant, 9615 Old Hwy 43, Creola Alabama at which time they will be publicly opened and read at the City Council meeting at 6:00 PM on November 12, 2020. All bidders are invited to attend. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.
